Track Details: 118 BPM, Minor Key, Trip-Hop × Alt-Electronic × Dark Trance
Mood: Melancholic, urgent, cinematic
Built on a driving instrumental that fuses trip-hop melancholy, alt-electronic urgency, and dark trance propulsion, this track layers a minor-key synth melody over a pulsating bassline and crisp drum machine groove. The atmosphere is introspective yet energetic, with clean production emphasizing clear synth textures and a well-defined low end. Intensity builds through rhythmic edits, stereo automation, and hypnotic repetition.
Lyrics explore emotional recursion: pain, ecstasy, and the grayscale between, delivered through sparse alto vocal fragments treated with shimmer FX and tape delay. The chorus mantra “I’m livin’ life in black and white” anchors the emotional arc, while the outro promises transformation: “Trading black and white for light.”
Ideal for cinematic sync, immersive playlists, and remix capsules.
