Track Details:
Genre: Trip‑Hop × Electronica × Dream‑Cinematic
Style: Smoke‑Pulse Anthem × Ethereal Bass Engine × Slow‑Burn Ascension
Mood: Dreamlike, suspended, dissolving → Rising, luminous, awakened
Inspiration: "Chasing A Lie" by Gautam Dev ( https://elasticstage.com/soundcloud/releases/gautam-dev-chasing-a-lie-album )
Waking Up moves at 126 BPM — a track built around the moment between sleep and consciousness,
the breath before awareness, the pulse before motion.
A deep, ghosted bass engine sits mono and centered,
its weight felt more than heard, like a heartbeat under blankets of haze.
The kick is deliberate and rounded, pushing air without breaking the dream.
Dusty, trip‑hop‑leaning percussion and soft, shuffled hats create a slow, stalking motion.
Smoke‑textured synths curl upward in desaturated midnight blue and soft violet,
their tails dissolving into pale, ghost‑white reverb.
A faint gold glow swells behind the midrange, mirroring the artwork’s halo of awakening.
Subtle glitch shimmers at the edges keep the track tethered to your digital‑emotional catalog.
The topline moves like a half‑remembered sentence from a dream —
phrases rise, fracture, and fade into vapor before fully resolving.
Each section opens a little wider, tension turning into clarity,
like eyes adjusting to light after a long night inside your own head.
